Shortened second apprenticeship at BKW

The BKW Group offers second apprenticeships for electrical installers VET. If you already have a VET diploma in a related profession, your training period may be shortened by one or two years and you will no longer have to attend general education classes. The cantonal vocational training authorities are responsible for deciding on a shortened apprenticeship at the company's request.

What we’re looking for in candidates for a second apprenticeship

  • You have an interest in electrical engineering, electricity and technology.
  • You think logically, understand technical things quickly and you are focused and precise in your work.
  • You like working with your hands and want to see what you’ve done at the end of a working day.
  • You can work independently and you also enjoy communication within a team and contact with customers.

At BKW, we offer a wide range of options.
