- The program typically starts at the beginning of September or March.
- duration
- The program lasts 18 months. Throughout this time, you are part of a team and learn about other related teams through your activities or targeted short assignments.

- The work area you will get to know is determined prior to the job posting and your tasks are described in the job advertisement.
- subject areas
- There are programs in various fields, depending on the needs of our departments, for example, in cross-functional roles such as IT or HR.
- projects
- During your Career Starter time, you will work on many exciting projects. You can incorporate your interests and career goals and develop further in a targeted manner.
- remuneration
- During your time as a Career Starter in Switzerland, you earn at least CHF 79,500 or more, depending on your degree.
- support
- Your personal guidance throughout the program is important to us – both for professional and personal questions.
- conclusion
- During your program, we plan together how your career path could look. Our goal is to enable development into the desired role within BKW in case of mutual interest.
- networking & events
- Our community meets regularly for exchanges over coffee or lunch. Once a year, there is also a larger excursion.
